I use brushes in a carrier , they have two thin plastic flanges in the brush that helps with the seal . I dont like the rubber ones as they go brittle over time .

I use a Trelleborg product with a tube section seal. I bought mine in Germany, it's standard there, and still havn't reached the end of the reel.
got the spindle working yet?

Thanks people. I have some samples of seals here and going to run a test on each. I don't think the client will mind which one is used. Brian, Got the spindle working, nice little machine. We did wonder before hand why if had a two stage power switch as the speed is sorted out with the belts. This is actually a forward and reverse button so that's an added benifit. Just awaiting all the tooling from whitehill then i'm on full steam ahead (just not looking forward to running the cill block )

I have got a whitehill cill block spins up nicely and is well balanced although i did stand back the first time i used it
