Hi
Does anyone use the ryobi one+ cordless drills etc?
I've got a couple of Makitas for every day use but could do with an angle drill now and then, so don't really fancy spending too much. Seen screwfix are doing a 18v twin pack deal at the moment for about £90, are they any good? or is it a case of you get what you pay for?
Cheers Russ

don't know about this newer stuff, but i gave away an 18volt one to a mate about 3 years ago, and he is still using it for site work, and seems happy. much of their stuff was made in ireland, don't know about the later stuff. paul

Cheers Paul I've never used them myself but thought for the price it might be worth a try, especially with my 10% discount voucher

The drill is OK (except for the chuck) and the battery seems to last well but the Jigsaw and circular saw are not that good. Not tried any other tool in the range so don't know about them.

ryobi used to be very good - IIRC they made stuff for hitachi. I think the quality has gone down hill a bit as the last ryobi drill I had, the batteries didn't seem to hold a charge very well. As Dom said . . . you pays your money . . .

Hi Which makita do you have as you might be able to get just a body for it and that would mean on extra chargers. i have done the same the my Makita Lithium drills, just need the jig saw and impact driver body to have what I need
