Has anyone used them and are they a good bunch to deal with? Having missed the £299 spindle moulder deal from Rutlands (too much hesitation and they wanted £65 to deliver to the Isle of Wight) I've found a not quite as good deal from a place called Toolsave in the Midlands. I'm planning on ringing them tomorrow to see if they can deliver to a mainland address for me.

I bought a Fox double-ended 12" disc sander from them in July. It was a bargain offer at less than half price.
Delivered when promised and well packed. I actually wondered if it came direct from Fox.

Toolsave came up trumps. Ordered last week and asked for a delivery today, Monday. Lorry came this morning, exactly as promised. The machine cost £349, but delivery was free so in all it was about £30 more expensive than the recent (now withdrawn) Rutland offer. Just been assembling it but had to stop - so cold I couldn't hold the nuts and bolts, nor could I concentrate on deciphering the drawings in the instruction booklet (written in a the usual curious Chinenglish). Toolsave are still showing them as available on eBay, just in case anyone else is interested. Initial impressions are good - very smooth sliding table, good quality cast iron bed, everything protected with grease. Have to take some pictures when it's running (which may not be this week - back to the site on Thursday, and I've got Eric Stephensons book to read yet!). Just one more thing - I only signed up here a month ago, thanks to jfc, and it's been so useful - I've picked up loads of interesting past threads full of useful tips and info, and had loads of advice about buying this spindle and the tooling I need. A massive thanks to everyone.
