Saw this on another forum and wondered if anyone here could help

Thanks to MFI going to the wall I am left with half of the new Schreiber wardrobes ordered and advice from the Administrators to claim a Visa refund. Thanks a bunch! The final double Schreiber wardrobe was due to be delivered this week. Job half finished! Google has failed to locate the sub-contractor. Advice on who/where Schriebers have their factory would be much appreciated.

Schreiber are part of the MFI group AFAIK, so they have probably gone to the wall too.

I went past MFI today, there was a massive queue of people waiting to get in

the only other thing to do is wait until the administrators sell all the stock on to the countless shops that clear "end of line " and such like

although at one time schreiber were part of mfi, were they actually part of the september management buyout.

i don't honestly know, but it might be worth checking. to see whether they have survived.

I am working on a fit out of a furniture store in Doncaster ,next door was been fitted out as a MFI store the contractor was working on three stores full fit out.Pulled off wednesday took air-con units and mains board etc ,suspended ceiling and 40k of karndean flooring had just been fitted.The building industry is s---t ,i have gone labour only i may lose a few weeks wages but i wont get stung for the materials as well .
