My friend has a DW16G pin gun that keeps jamming . It loads two nails into the firing chamber . Its brand new and he is using paslode nails in it ( because he was told the dewalt ones arnt out yet ) Could it be the nails ?

do the pins lay flat on the loader??? often this is the problem they do not enter the piston properly # just checked, is it the angled gun, if so the dewalt one is at 21 degrees, and are the paslode at that angle?? if the straight one which is i understand only newly available, then not sure, but may be worth checking with dewalt tech paul

Is the quick-release nose piece seated correctly?
If it isn't it can allow this to happen even although the catch is secure.
I've got both air and cordless DeWalts and find them very good! ;D
