I have just visited a joinery workshop which has closed down. They are liquidating all the assets and as such there are probably some bargains to be had. The workshop is in Havant, ( I hope that it hasn't affected anyone here) and they have various machinery from 4 sided planers and industrial drum sanders through to pillar drills and morticers. I think that it is all 3 phase, but don't know for sure. If you want a copy of the email that I received with a list of the assets (not necessarily complete) and a few photos of some of the gear, pm me and I'll forward it to you. I think that they are trying to tie things up asap and are having viewings tomorrow so you will have to be quick!
There was a Sedgewick table saw, which looked under a year old, with sliding table that will probably go for under a grand which is just one of the gems. If you are looking for something specific let me know and I'll try and remember what was there. The whole place has got to be cleared including things like racking and benches.
There is a stock of timber too, which I'm sure will be reasonable.
Any questions, just ask or I can give you the number of the guys in charge.

Phew you had me worried there Stu!
I thought for a moment it was you selling up. How you are still finding good volumes of work out there.

Luckily it's not me Bob!
The works out there Bob, the website throws up all sorts of interesting enquiries.
One other thing on the Havant clearance, I mentioned this place and the other place to them and I suspect that they will post this to the other place. If no one take the whole stack of timber they might open it up for people to go along and take whats there at what I guess will be silly prices. There are racks of hardwood of varying species, I didn't spot them all. Might be worth a look.
