Im fitting this window tomorrow and wondering what the best way to fix the internal beading is . The glazing bars are as small as i could make them to take double glazing but im worried if i start trying to pin the beads on i could snap a bar . Maybe pre drill first or has someone got a better way ?

If you have a suitable size pair of pliers, pre-drill the hole, then with one half of the jaw underneath the bar and the other on the head of the pin, squeeze and it should go in OK. I've tried this before and it works You probably only have to do a few like this then, once you have all the glass in, should be firm enough to hammer the rest in (but pre-drill those as well). Cheers Paul

Push pin? www.axminster.co.uk/product-Crown-Ram-or-Push-Pin-19735.htmYou push the pin with one hand and hold a piece of wood in the other, pressed up opposite side of the glazing bar to the pin pusher. Handy tool for small beads, light frames etc. Has magnetic pusher to hold the pin in the barrel

I do have a pin push but again i thought that may snap the bar . If you wanted to use the push-pin (or even a hammer), you could cut a few scrap lengths of wood and wedge them in where the glass goes, then working from the top down, fit the glass. That would support the glazing bars and stop them snapping. Cheers Paul

Same as Paul's pliers. I can't think how to describe it better. Try poking a pin into a piece of wood held in your other hand. No prob is it? Now do the same, except there is a glazing bar and bead in between.
