Have been scouring the catalogues but can't find a match for this cheapo drawer rim lock. Any suggestions for a replacement or near match? What's a good catalogue for this sort of thing? It's exactly 2 1/2" between screw holes. Don't volunteer to repair rubbish furniture for neighbour!

Mr G. Have you looked at the new Rutlands cabinet hardware catalogue, they do a 3"drawer lock, though it does look to be brass, not sure if you need to match the colour. Delivery sould be quick, they are on your doorstep, me thinks. Walter.

Thanks Walter. Had a look but there doesn't seem to be a rim lock. I don't want to cut a lock in as it's rubbish furniture; probably made of mdf and dog sh*t, not worth the effort.

Cheers ta. That's more like it. It says Straight cupboard locks fit directly onto the wood on the inside of the cupboard without the need for cutting any wood away.which I would call a rim lock. Perhaps I'm searching with the wrong name.
