While peeling spuds for 9 today I experimented with the cutting angle and discovered you can peel better on the skew I am sure Mr Lie Nielsen et al will seize this opportunity and provide us with choice for 2009 in left and right hand versions. I think and adjustable mouth will be essential. ;D Merry Christmas to you all. Brian

Lie Nelson etc are devoting themselves to re-inventing the hammer, according to a webpage I looked at recently. It'll be left or right handed (you will need 2!) and available in steel (various grades) brass, bronze, titanium etc and in a variety of weights with metric and imperial options. The whole collection will amount to 256 different hammers, in a hand knitted leather suitcase with brass handles, at a price of £2million pounds. It's only a matter of time til they get to the potato peeler!

That would be useful on a grater as well, come to think of it.
