Has anyone got any experience of this brand of machines? I have a couple of mchines being offered to me very cheap and they look superb.

French manufacturer - would be even cheaper if the £ wasn't so weak against the Euro. Looks good on the website. Stockists site in Stockport says " catalogue suspended" what ever that means.

I have seen them at woodworking trade shows and they look well made industrial machines. If they are cheap i would say they would be a good buy. I thought they were italian as most quality modern machines are but it seems they are french.

I've got a Sicar bandsaw and it was fine - until a fellow forum member got his bloody hands on it! They're good machines, an as far as I know they are from Italy, not France. plainly if you check further they are not an italian company, rather a french holding company DMB who own some italian brands. they are just outside paris. paul
