I came accross Cutlist for the first time on this forum a couple of weeks ago. In my other life in my engineering company we cut plastics on a Hammer dimension saw, largely into a vast number of different size rectangles. The parts stay the same but the mix changes every day. We do £150,000 worth every year. Suffice to say that having purchased the program it paid for itself in the first day on better material utilisation. One slick bit of software - and cheap. thanks guys ;D Brian PS sorry to have another life - I really envy you guys who get up in the morning and stoll into your sunlit workshops, LN dovetail saw in hand, to pause for a freshly brewed coffee whilst considering the curve of your next Krenov table leg. It is like that isn't it

Yup it's just like that Brian - but don't forget the warm Wood Stove in the corner, the smell of freshly cut pine and the chat with the old Cabinet Maker from across the road, who wanders in to try the coffee ;D ;D
