I have been asked to make some wardrobe doors 2225 high x 675 wide, plain simple flat doors painted white. I was thinking of using 18mm MR MDF but am not sure if it will stay flat enough. They will be hung on kitchen cabinet hinges, I was going to use 5 per door, any opinions please?
It is a mates rates job and he is skint so the simpler the better.
TIA
John

john. try the test, cut a lump of mdf that size, and leave it standing somewhere for a week, and see what happens. personally i would go with frame and panel, with the panels flush at the front. strength without the weight, and more resistant to bending paul

It will bend . However if you hang it and put some catches top and bottom it should be fine .
