Hi all. Have been quite busy of late and haven't had a chance to post, although I do look in from time to time to see what's going on. The reason for the post is that I'm looking for someone with the ability to sharpen a pair of sheppach hms 260 HSS knives, who'd be willing to help me out? I've made some enquiries here in Lomé without success. I've just installed a new pair and a friend who is travelling to the UK at easter is willing to act as postman. I'd obviously be happy to cover any costs involved. They knives in question aren't too bad - no nicks - so I am guessing that they could be done on a tormek if someone has the right jig.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

I have a Makita horizontal wetstone grinder with a 16in knife jig if that helps. I even have the Tormek jig as it's been sitting on the side for ages waiting for the guy who was intending to buy it to pick it up........
PM me to let me know, although I am in the north of England

I just wanted to publicly thank Keith for going out of his way to help me out. As others have found, this forum isn't just somewhere to exchange ideas but where practical help is offered too.
All the best,
Steve
