Fascinating stuff and the end result looks great.
I love all your clamping techniques.

Really want to say something facetious, but I'm impressed.

Really nice, I've always wanted to make a guitar but never found the time, course it would help if I could play more than a few chords.
I'm particularly impressed with the idea of springing rods against the ceiling, I've never thought of doing that

Just picked it up again tonight and it is sounding sweet but it doesnt feel right and gets annoying to play because i have made the neck to small I added a couple of maple strips each side of the fretboard and its nearly nice to play but not easy like it should be . Any tips or do i need to remake the neck ?

Do you mean that you haven't made the neck wide enough or is it the thickness that is the problem or both?
For width, adding the strips down the edge and then recutting the bridge and nut will give you more space between the strings which will make it easier to play, but if you need a thicker neck, you might aswell just make a new one because its going to be very difficult to bulk that up because of the curves.

Its the width , its 42mm at the nut and the high e wants to slip off the finger board .

Are the nut slots too wide or not deep enough? Are the outer edge of the strings an equal distance from the edge of the fretboard at each side with the rest of the strings spaced equally between them? Does the high e string stay the same distance from the edge of the fretboard all the way along or does it break at an angle because the fretboard is the wrong shape/bridge-nut is out of alignment?
