You total barsteward, yer lordship. One damn project I've done this year - and it still hasn't any doors. There should be a warning on this thread in case innocent layabouts like me open it in the presence of passing Management... Cheers, Alf

A very gloat worthy list of projects m'lud. But if I can get away with bitching about something in the first picture... For God's sake, pull your speakers away from the wall man! Floor standers like that need to be about 50 cm away from the wall (or the sides of the HiFi unit) and about a metre from a corner. Trust me. It will sound a thousand times better!

Well, that's a beautiful "production line" Lord Nibbo... I made a few simple planters, folding garden coffee table and a few small projects in the house (tiles on the balcony and stairs, two closet rooms and opening a window in the loo).... But I made many jigs...does that counts... And also, from November till March, we are "closed"...due to the "Polish winter"... Do I have enough excuses?....because reasons, I don't have... ;D niki

You'll be telling me next if I stood the speakers on spiked house bricks they'll sound even better ;D Anyway I need um tight to the wall to stop it shaking so there. ;D and even if I could move them the lead to my Rell stentor sub won't be long enough I've only ever had it on full volume once, twas for about two seconds ;D what did you say? you'll have to speak up a bit I'm a bit deaf

Ok fair comment your Lordship but most of my work is what I would class as rough woodwork compared to the fine furnishing that you have produced. I would love to spend time in the workshop just making furniture but unfortunately my customers won't let me. I am afraid I have to use mainly softwood for most of the projects so it is nice to see some well made furniture that I can only dream of at the moment. Maybe next year I can get some more jobs with the finesse of hardwood for a change.

LN, the Tea Light Holder.
What wood did you use? Cut on a bandsaw?

LN, the Tea Light Holder. What wood did you use? Cut on a bandsaw? American Black Walnut, but the pics show it quite light owing to using a flash. Yes the curve was cut on a bandsaw, the two ends on a SCMS. Edit..... It's Teak not ABW.... well it is a bit early to put my brain in. ;D

Thanks, very nice piece! I do a lot of candle holders, using any scarp that looks big enough to hold 1 or more candles. Make excellent pressies!
