Finally hung on some very expensive hinges and just waiting for the handle and rose. I am looking forward to making the second door for the front in the light of the lessons learned. 1>Work from a full size drawing on some mdf rather than dead measurement. 2>Dont make the door until you have sourced the hardware 3>You can achieve almost the same properties without the inside overset rebate which adds considerably to the work

I agree that is a Fabulous door. Was going to ask if you were going to put in some form of letter box then reread your post and realised this is a back door!! Is the front door design any different? Cheers Tony
