That looks really nice Senior. How did you accomplish the section of worktop around the cooker is it breakfast bar or are the adjacent tops cut back? ;D

It's a bit wood overkill for me with the wood floor as well. Any reason for the different depth of wall units?

Nice kitchen senior. Nice blend of traditional and modern, especially for older houses and barn conversions.
I like the idea of deeper wall units and wonder why manufacturers don't offer this option as they are much more practical for storage than the standard sizes.
Did you make the cornice or buy it in?
What type of jointing did you use for the cabinet assembly?
