For anyone planning a kitchen www.kitchendraw.com is well worth a look. It's free and relatively easy to use, although I can't figure out how to put tiles on the wall This is my latest project

Dom, it's what the client wants I've tried to convince them to have an island unit but they want the two tables, what can you do? The beauty of this software is that they get chance to see exactly what it will be like. They have just phoned to say they like it and I'm to go ahead, so two tables it is.

Keith, Go to www.kitchendraw.co.uk and register. Once approved when you log in you will see a couple of links not seen by visitors. One is for downloads where you will find a UK cabinet catalogue for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and in January it will also have cutting lists for cabinet panels. The other is for a series of video tutorials one of which covers tiling for floors and walls. Any problems, let me know. PS, PM me with your real name so you will be recognised when you register as you may not be approved if you are not in the kitchen trade

Thanks for the link pewe, I have managed to work out how to tile the walls, turned out I just needed to select the wall before changing modes. The video tutorials would be a help though I'll PM you.

There is a better way to tile the walls using the 'Automatic tiling' feature. You can also change individual or multiple tiles to add colour/interest. It's in the tutorial. So far you seem to have achieved a good grasp of the programme without the tutorials thought

Kitchendraw is only free for a cetain number of hours....Then you have to pay.
My choice is eCabinet.... totally free, plus it will produce cutting list right up to cnc output if you have a Thermwood.
