Well here is my latest creation, a shoe cabinet made in MDF. It will be painted white when complete.   Still working on the garage doors too. ;D |

Nice job Mailee.
You'll need a good finish inside, damp shoes will kill the MDF otherwise.

Proper job. Just one question, please - what anchors the bottom edge of the tilting drawers? Are there pivoting pins in the sides or a piano hinge along the bottom or what?

Hi evergreen, Both drawers are hinged with two hinges on the bottom. I did think about using dowels on the sides but it would mean that the doors would have to be flush fitting, hence the hinges. |

Nice idea , i normaly use two hanging rails angled down to make a shoe rack but then i only have two pairs of shoes. Work and funerals  |

Finished and delivered at last. Glad to say the customer was very happy with it too. Looks like more work in the future as well. ;D   |
