Here is a bookcase that I made and have a question with it. For the people that say to not bother with a saw rail and just use a saw board. How would you have cut the 88 shelves the same size without a table saw I used my EZ rail and an attachment called the Cabinet maker

They're nice, Colin. How did you fix the shelves to the sides? Cheers Paul

How would you have cut the 88 shelves the same size without a table saw snip Looks good. I'd say, if you've got it then of course use it, but if you haven't, a sawboard is a viable (and cheap) alternative. For 88 lengths I'd add a long stop of some sort i.e. cut one end then turn the sawboard around with the stop against cut end, and cut the other end. Or something mounted on the bench top praps, made with with the usual scraps of ply nailed on etc a la Nicki. Come to think Nicki would screw/bolt them on very carefully with countersunk holes! One way or another it would be easy, fast and accurate but would take longer to set up than a rail system - assuming you've got all the bits, accessories, etc cheers Jacob
