Just before the last Post Office strike, I "won" a Record 43 on the bay at a very cheap price. Sadly it seem to have gone missing in the post? The seller has offered a refund but I would rather have the plane! Is anybody else still awaiting any post from that period? R.

Hi Robo I would save that seller as a favorite and see if the plane comes up for sale again It seems a little strange that the seller is happy to just give you your money back, without any questions Or is it just me

Mmmm.... makes me think the seller didn't get what he thought he would get. How much did you get it for?

I paid £16 for it complete with blades - I had been tracking and bidding on others before which were going for about £30. TonyW did a last second swoop on one of them! ;D The seller is on my "watch list" but I suppose it is quiet easy to get a friend to sell it in a few weeks time. He has offered the refund but not paid anything yet!! R.

Since the strike the post seems to have gone haywire - really. This means I'm "reduced" to paying subbies cheque/cash im hand (although only with the proper documentation/CIS, etc) and that I've started to pay suppliers by direct bank credit as I simply can't trust the PO any longer

Still not received the plane or a refund so it's looking like I will have to take it up a notch on Ebay? I did managed to buy another one for £12 which is safely in my hands - the demand for them seems to have diminished a bit and the prices are coming down? This one has winged nut type bolts whilst the other had knurled knobs - anybody know which is the earlier model? R.

TonyW did a last second swoop on one of them! ;D Just spotted this, sorry robo - actually the last minute swoop was made for me by my son - think he got a little carried away on price (i.e. a bit more than I had wanted to pay). Looks like the price hike may have been due to some other bidders in the US. Glad you got sorted with one at a v. good price. Have you sorted things with the seller yet about refunding ? I believe that the early 43's were fitted with the wing nuts the latter type with the knurled knobs - don't have any idea on the dates though Cheers Tony
