Hi, by way of an introduction I thought i would post some pics of my workshop - it's hardly in Senior's league but it keeps me busy. I've just finished a bedroom refit so will post some pics of that later. The first view shows my bandsaw and planer. The bandsaw was given to me and is all cast iron with 24" wheels. The planer is an Elektra beckum. Another view of the big bandsaw and my trusty stove Round to the right is the RAS bench as well as the router table and my workbench - hardly stylish but it's solid and flat and I don't care about damaging it! The wood racks are a bit empty as I've just finished a project and I tend to buy what I need rather than holds loads in stock. Another view of my high precision workbench.. And on the opposite wall is my Fox table saw. The workshop (garage) is 20 feet x 20 feet and the cars stay outside. I built up most of my tool collection while renovating two old houses but have more recently moved to a newer house and I'm starting to concentrate on furniture making. I will post some more pics over the weekend. Cheers Mike

I have about the same size shop space and a build area out the back . You seem to have a better layout than me .

Why is the bandsaw boxed in ? The machine is old and had no blade covers at all so the box helps keep me away from the blade and wheels Mike

Nice shop...looks like it could be a bit cool in there tho' in the winter It's not too bad really - it's a garage built about 8 years ago and the walls are well insulated. The roof and doors could be improved though. Once the stove is going it keeps warm enough to work most of the time though Mike

"that is exactly what a bench should look like, not like a dining room table"
Not like tw*t Tonys then?
