Ive been asked to make a tilting window (pivots in the middle ) Any one ever made one of these and what iron mongary did you use ? The window i have is over 6ft so it will need some kind of stop to stop it spinning right round and launching the customer into next doors garden ;D

if its launching him into the garden youve made it upside down
it should knock him on the head and drive him through the floor
the top should pivot inwards so the thing sheds water, both when shut or open
ive only ever repaired them
not sure on the source of the ironmongery but theyve been making the window style since the 1890s and almost certinly before then

Your right and i was thinking of the top tilting in but i think with the window over 6ft tall it would go over their head and pick them up . Thus launching them into next doors garden at around 45* ;D
