Hobby which is why I do it all with hand tools if I had to make a living at it there would be a higher degree of mechanization.

Greetings!
Looking... always... but not trade.
Purely hobby... would love to have more time to invest in what relaxes me more.

HOBBY! thats why I joined to try and get better, I certainly would not try to do a tradesman out of his job by undercutting him and doing a bad job at the same time, which is what is happening in my game (HVAC@Plumbing, I won,t mention names but I think they are from Europe) Regards Rich.

Hi Rashly went straight ahead with new post [Startrite K210] Tradesman during day - carpenter builder but trying to set up home workshop definitely hobby. Luckily many tools transferable from work and new ones tax deductible !!!

I'm definitely a hobby woodworker.
Started beating myself up over Christmas about not having made much with all the gear I've got. Then realised I'm not as bad as I thought - a couple of side tables, ornamental box, bathroom cabinet, baby changing unit/chest of drawers, bookcase, some shelves, plus other odds and ends.
Getting back into the hobby after a 4-5 year break. Got a pretty good tool kit and workshop setup.
Cheers,
Lee

Hobby here but looking to do this maybe part-time in the future. Been bogged down with the day job for the past few months so haven't been on the other forum much - now that I cam back, I found this one Anyway, hoping to have a bit more time for projects this year so will try to be a bit more active on the forum.

Hii All I am Hobby, and I am unlikely to be professional because I am fundamentaly too lazy . I have been looking for a reason to sign up when I could addd something useful and I will in the "techniques Ernest Joyce question" I would have used my normal name Alan as a user name but as usual it was gone so I thought of the first thing I could and as the cat was plucking the carpet up again! Ocicat came to mind. Alan
