Hi Tuppenceworth, who shall henceforth be known as TW, don't worry about slowness, it would apperar that the average age here is quite high.

Welcome to the forum Pitbull Do you run a workshop or on site ? I run my own workshop, manufacturing windows doors etc etc. But I also go out on site. If it involves wood I like to get involved. I am wanting to get the time to take up turning. But I think its more for the fact it would mean I have to buy some more chisels. ;D

Hobby these days. Just couldn't stop myself making what I wanted to make, when I put my feet up and my tools away. The problem is, all the relatives want stuff making... (Well all those on the 'First Lady's' side at least. )

If I hold them up, you can just about tell the difference between the bag and my face! Welcome John

I don't do work anymore is it not a four letter word? As soon as anything is classed as work it's not a hobby anymore is it? So Bonjour Goodenmorgan to everyone. LN Well said LN! So I am just off to my hobbyshop to do some woodhobby(ing) problem is at my age it's a lot of hard hobby! It's a great hobby though LN, I agree. The luckiest of us are able to make a living from our hobby, so that's the place to be. Happy Wood-hobbying. John

Welcome! Now we have the "Blacksheep" of the Forum Family! ;D ;D ;D ;D Thanks Jaco, I was struggling to think of a user name, and then looked at the beer bottle I'd just finished. Another 20 minutes, and I'd have been 'London Pride'!

trade
When you do it all day it becomes the last thing you wanna do at night, but with carpentry and joinery there are so many variations that it NEVER becomes boring.
At work I fit kitchens, doors and timber frame etc... but for pleasure I like to 'experiment'.
