If you click on your picture in photo bucket and then on the right last option is a tag line click on that and copy . Then in your post here just click and paste , no tags needed as photo bucket does that for you .

Bought a Perform CCL late about a year ago for my retirement I turn both green wood and prepared blanks Prefer to turn green as it cuts so well the only drawback is the distortion?

Hello Sooty, Welcome! ;D ;D ;D ;D
So, another pensioner, plus Dom, Senior and a few other oldies.
Can you post some pics of "green" stuff? I have only turned very dry stock.

Very nice work! When you turn it green, how long does it take to 'dry out' before you can finish it?

Celt, not familiar with them. We tend to see the Jet here + few others which i think come from China and other unknown places. The Jet is solidly built as opposed to some very "tinny" Eastern stuff. The chap i bought my lathe from (ZAR575), bought a new 'Eurasia' , he found it lightweight and had the cheek to want to buy his old one back from me. Needless to say i told him to take a very long trip to Never-land ;D ;D

Hello, just joined up here but I'm a regular on an Australian forum which judging from some of the usernames on here is frequented by some of you blokes.
I have a lathe, the MC-1100 chinese clone, I'll post pictures in the other forum. I turn pens, bowls, goblets, eggs, vases and anything else that takes my fancy, look forward to having a chat.
HH.
