Ive got two of them but both are only really for light work (alley tables ) Ive just checked with the timber yard and have worked out on an average job for me i would be saving around £120 on the raw materials . For getting timber that no one knows what its going to be like and having to prep it my self and not being able to take it back if it no good = Not worth the hassle to me . On the other hand i do need a better PT and am keeping my eye out for one .

Well all I can say is that when you get going with a good machine you will find out why it's worth the hassle!
cheers Jacob And you can take it back if it's no good (before you cut or plane) though normally my yard just gives a discount on the bill, to save effing about
PS we were right about the wonders of the spindle moulder weren't we? We are right abt the P/T too ;D

some places will even take it back after it's been faced, as long as it's the original length.

Fantastic work mate. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Did you glaze them yourself? I bet the beads were a bit if a nightmare?

No i got the glazier to putty them in . I wasnt sure the design was going to be strong enough for pinning beads to ( ended up it was ) but we had already agreed that they would be puttied in ( phew)
